Tytuł magistra zdrowia publicznego oraz doktora nauk o zdrowiu uzyskał na Wydziale Nauk o Zdrowiu Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego Collegium Medicum. Praca doktorska obejmowała zagadnienia dotyczące oceny profilu bezpieczeństwa leków biologicznych stosowanych w leczeniu nieswoistych chorób zapalnych jelit przy wykorzystaniu metaanaliz sieciowych. W 2016 roku został stypendystą MNiSW dla wybitnych doktorantów. Autor i współautor licznych publikacji naukowych z zakresu oceny technologii medycznych (ang. Health Technology Assessment; HTA). Zawodowo związany z HTA w zakresie oceny technologii lekowych, nielekowych, wyrobów medycznych oraz świadczeń zdrowotnych. Jego główne zainteresowania badawcze obejmują zastosowanie paradygmatu HTA w podejmowaniu racjonalnych decyzji zdrowotnych na poziomie polityki lekowej i organizacji świadczeń zdrowotnych (koszyk świadczeń gwarantowanych).

The scope of his doctoral dissertation involvesthe evaluation of the safety profile of biological drugs used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease based on a network meta-analysis. As an outstanding young scientist he has been awarded a Ministry of Science and Higher Education scholarship in 2016. Author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in the field of Health Technology Assessment (HTA). Professionally associated with HTA in the field of evaluation of drug and non-drug technologies, medical devices and health services. His main fields of interest cover the application of the HTA in drug and health services decisions making.
