The Institute of Public Health (IZP) UJ CM has been cooperating with Evangelische Hochschule Berlin (EHB; https://www.eh-berlin.de/startseite.html) since 2018. EHB is a school providing the training of social workers and nurses in the field of management (pflegemanagement). During the visits of Polish students to Berlin, our students are not only hosted at EHB, but also have the opportunity to visit healthcare institutions, hospitals, a centre for the addicts, a centre for people with mental disorders and a unit certifying hospitals. The cultural program includes, for example, a visit to the Museum Island, a cruise on the River Spree, a visit to the Bundestag. During the visits of German guests to Krakow, EHB students and their guardians visit, for example, the University Hospital, Municipal Care Centre, and also take classes with Polish public health students, to whom they present the functioning of the German health care system. They also have the opportunity to participate in classes with foreign students on the EuroPubHealth educational path and meet with representatives of the Nursing Institute. The Polish coordinator of this cooperation is Marcin Kautsch, Ph.D., from the Institute of Public Health of the Jagiellonian University Medical College.
