Health Summit organized by the Polish National Institute of Public Health

On June 12, 2019, during the Health Summit organized by the Polish National Institute of Public Health (NIZP-PZH [https://www.pzh.gov.pl]), the latest edition of “Poland: Health system review. Health Systems in Transition” was presented. This is the newest publication of the “Health Systems in Transition” series – or “HiT” in short.
 
The HiT series is published by the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies [http://www.euro.who.int/en/about-us/partners/observatory] under the auspices of the WHO Europe Region Office. These publications provide a reliable and up-to-date information on health systems of the countries descried. In addition, the information contained therein is constantly updated on the Observatory website – within the Health Systems and Policy Monitor [https://www.hspm.org/countries/poland27012013/countrypage.aspx].
 
Most of the authors of the Polish edition are faculty members of the Institute of Public Health of the Jagiellonian University Medical College. The authors, coordinators and editors of the publication are Christoph Sowada, Anna Sagan, and Iwona Kowalska-Bobko.
