Developing cooperation with Evangelische Hochschule Berlin

31st of October 2019
A group of students and lecturers from the Evangelische Hochschule Berlin – EHB (https://www.eh-berlin.de/startseite.html) visited the Institute of Public Health on 21-24 October. It was the next stage in the development of cooperation between our schools. (In June 2018 our students visited Berlin and EHB.)

On Monday, the guests visited the University Hospital in Krakow, where they had the opportunity to meet the Chief Nurse, Mrs. Maja Szymaczek, and visited the clinic complex at ul. Botaniczna and Emergency Centre for Emergency Medicine and Disasters (CUMRiK).

Our partners spent Tuesday at the IPH, where they gave a presentation of the German health care system to our students of the second year of the Master programme (management path). They also took part in the EurePubHealth classes. In the afternoon they paid a visit to the Institute of Nursing.

On Wednesday morning, they visited the Municipal Care Center (MCO), hosted visited by Mrs. Anna Kliś-Kalinowska, Deputy Director of Nursing.

Apart from their professional agenda our German guests were able to enjoy the city accompanied by our students. They visited the Old Town and the Wawel Castle.

Both our schools are applying for the travel grant, so hopefully, the next group of our students will be able to pay a visit in Berlin in May next year.
Wir sehen uns nächstes Jahr in Berlin, liebe Freunde!
