A brief summary of the visit of MSc in Global Health students from the University of Copenhagen

Four weeks of classes and 9 meetings in health care institutions in Małopolska Region, 16 students from 14 countries on 4 continents and the academic staff of the Institute of Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences, Jagiellonian University Medical College: 12 lecturers, 4 supervisors, 4 Polish student assistants and one coordinator – these are the numbers summarising the study visit in Poland by Global Health students from the University of Copenhagen.

It is a sixth time international students of University of Copenhagen participated in the course organised at our Institute. They had an opportunity of participating in lectures and workshops as well as visiting a variety of institutions active in health sector – from public administration and hospitals to non-governmental organisations.

At the end of the visit, students presented of four projects proposals prepared under the supervision of dr. Agnieszka Doryńska, dr. Katarzyna Dubas-Jakóbczyk, dr. Andrzej Galbarczyk and dr. Michał Zabdyr-Jamróz.

Students of our institute – Anita Zalisz, Joanna Żyrek, Aleksandra Starnawska and Maciej Furman – actively helped in organising the whole visit.
