We are very pleased to inform that Dr habil. Christoph Sowada, Professor of the Jagiellonian University, has been appointed to the Team of Advisers to the Health Commission of the Senate of the Republic of Poland. Prof. Christoph Sowada is Head of the Health Economics and Social Security Department at the Institute of Public Health of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Students’ Affairs, and in the past he was the Director and Deputy Director of the Institute for many years. The first matter to be dealt with by the Senate’s Team of Advisors will be the analysis of the government’s draft coronavirus (causing COVID-19) vaccination strategy.
