22nd September 2019    Meetings of the Working Groups and the Management Committee of the European Medicines Shortages Research Network (COST CA15105 – Medicines Shortages) project were held on 10-th and 11-th of September 2019 in Vilnius. The meetings were organized this time by the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. The researchers and professionals active in pharmaceutical markets of 31 countries in the region of Europe and Middle East are analyzing causes, effects and ways of mitigating drug shortages, which are increasingly appearing within healthcare systems around the world. The Vilnius meetings attracted about 50 participants. The project is managed by the Jagiellonian University Medical College.
