In 2026, Krakow became the site of a special anniversary – 35 years had passed since the establishment of Poland’s first School of Public Health, which pioneered the development of academic education and research in this field. The event was organized by the City of Krakow and the Institute of Public Health, represented by its Director, Dr. Iwona Kowalska‑Bobko, Professor of the Jagiellonian University. The conference brought together experts, practitioners, and representatives of institutions engaged in advancing public health in Poland and internationally.
